Explanation

The noflow NDM is a system NDM that fires when no flow is being received by Netography from a configured flow source.

What to Look For

This condition most likely means that the device that was configured to send flows is down. As such, it may indicate a serious condition such as a network outage.

In some cases, the event may fire because the configuration of the device has changed, such that it can no longer send flows to Netography. Also, a change in network architecture or firewall policy might be preventing flows from the device from reaching Netography.

In some cases, the event merely occurs because no network traffic is occurring at the source network, and so there are no flows for the device to report, but most networks have some activity all of the time.
