Create an event notification

  1. Navigate to S3 in the AWS console

  1. Click on your S3 bucket created in a previous step

  1. Click the Properties tab

  1. Scroll down to event notifications and click Create event notification
  1. Give this event a name

  1. Under Event types select All object create events

  1. Under Destination selectSQS queue and choose the SQS queue created in a previous step.
    Click Save changes.
