Labels in Netography were previously user defined unique names associated with an IP address or protocol/port displayed throughout the portal as 1-to-1 relationships. There are now many use-cases to categorize the IP addresses in your infrastructure resources by applying unique names and structure to individual IP addresses and applying additional labels beyond a name value.

Context labels and integrations

Netography Fusion now supports automated polling of data from customer 3rd party systems that are made available in the portal as part of the new context label format.

  • 5 Cloud Providers: AWS, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud

    • Includes fields like OS, what is it (instance or lb), region, securitygroup, and any custom tags the customer has applied.

  • CrowdStrike Falcon

    • In addition to similar information available from the cloud provider above, Crowdstrike supports the following context types: kernel version, device manufacturer, department name, ServiceNowID, Crowdstrike State (Managed / Unsupported)

  • CSV via S3 Context Ingest

    • Scheduled ingest of custom labels via a CSV in a customer specified S3 bucket.

NQL History

Netography Fusion will now present a list of the last 10 NQL statements used, in addition to saved and system NQL queries.

Response integration - Syslog

A new response integration for output of events via Syslog to 3rd party systems in either CEF or CEE formats.

  • IP Explorer & Attack Surface: Support the Global Filter's historic time periods.

  • Navigation: Moved "Search" to it's own top level.

  • Event Widgets: change alerttype default to "all" When viewing the Event List, the table view now defaults to showing all events, both Active and Ended .

  • Widget 'value' not auto-sizing to scaled window

  • Charts: Values not visible when printing or exported

  • Table Filters: Number only columns should filter on >= #, not substring

  • Cannot remove a dashboard description

  • Search: submitting form calls the API twice

  • Table Columns: when title doesn't fit in column header, start from left character, and add ellipses at end
